BEAR is the generator brand of Fuan Hehuoxiong Electromechanical Co., Ltd., based in Fu'an, Fujian. The open-frame gasoline generators on this site run from the 3 kW PR3800 to the 5 kW wheeled PR6500 on the product pages, in several colour builds, and enclosed gasoline configurations are quoted per inquiry. Every catalogue product can be configured to order, including nameplate and colour; panel outlets are confirmed in the quotation.

4. Chongqing RATO Technology Co., Ltd. — Jiangjin, Chongqing
Rato's company profile describes a group established in 2007 covering gasoline and diesel power, generators and outdoor power equipment; its about page gives a 430,000 m² site in Jiangjin, an annual output of 4.5 million units across all products and sales to more than 80 countries. Its portable generator page lists R, R2, B2, L3 and A2 series, including 7 kW and 8 kW open-frame models.
Best for: open-frame ranges at group volume. Ask for: rated and maximum output per model and the engine fitted to each.
5. Taizhou Bison Machinery Co., Ltd. — Taizhou, Zhejiang
Bison's profile and history pages give a 2014 founding with registration in 2015 and a location in Taizhou near Ningbo port; the two pages publish different headcount, floor-area and export-country figures, so none of those figures is repeated here. Its gasoline generator page states more than 50 models from 0.5 to 15 kW on six production lines with a capacity of 20,000 units a month.
Best for: private-label ranges where carton, colour and nameplate changes need to move quickly. Ask for: the OEM scope in writing, the sample lead time and the certificate numbers for the exact models you will import.

United Power's about page states a 2003 founding in Fuzhou, and its gasoline generator page lists UP, N, GPS, PR and GM series from the 1.1 kW GG1456 to the GG8300E and GG9000N (8 kW maximum and 9.5 kW peak), with separate 50 Hz and 60 Hz models.
Best for: dealers who want gasoline, inverter, diesel and dual-fuel sets from one plant. Ask for: the 50 Hz and 60 Hz variants per model and a statement of which engines are own-made.
7. Chongqing Dajiang Power Equipment Co., Ltd. (DUCAR) — Chongqing
Ducar's home page describes a company founded in 2004 as a subsidiary of the listed Zongshen Power, with more than 2,900 employees, R&D centres in Fuzhou, Ningbo and Chongqing, manufacturing bases in Chongqing and Vietnam, and gasoline generators among its product categories.
Best for: buyers who want a second manufacturing base outside China. Ask for: which plant will build your order and which certificates apply to it.
8. Taizhou Genour Power Machinery Co., Ltd. — Duqiao, Taizhou
Genour's about page states a 2003 founding, more than 300 staff, a 20,000 m² factory in Duqiao, Taizhou, a capacity of 200,000 sets a year and exports to more than 65 countries, with gasoline engines, gasoline generators, welding generators, pumps and diesel sets in its range.

Extec's about page describes a small-engine and generator maker in Fu'an with a 10,000 m² site and a 7,000 m² plant, a stated capacity of 300,000 small gasoline and diesel engines and 200,000 complete sets a year, generators from 0.65 kW to 8 kW, customers in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America and Oceania, and CE, GS and SAA certificate statements.

DK Power's home page describes a 70,000 m² site in Caojie Industrial Park, Hechuan, 400 employees and seven assembly lines, with gasoline engines, gasoline and diesel generator sets and inverter models, and lists EPA, CARB, CE and GS among its certificate statements.
Best for: sets from an engine maker with US and EU certificate statements on the model list. Ask for: the certificate scope and the engine per model.
The eight assemblies to name in an open-frame quotation
An open-frame gasoline generator is an engine coupled to an alternator on a tubular frame, with a tank above and a panel at one end. Quotations become comparable when each of the eight assemblies is named, because the same frame and tank are offered with several engines, alternators and regulators.

OEM and private-label scope: what the makers on this list usually change
Most of the manufacturers above build private-label ranges. What they change at low quantities is cosmetic: colour, nameplate, decals, carton artwork and manual language. What they change only at production quantities is structural: panel layout, tank, engine class and frame. The photograph shows the first group on a real shipment.

- Start type and panel. Recoil, electric or remote start; outlet types and breaker rating for your market.

Are the engines on these generators made by the generator company?
Sometimes. Senci, Zongshen, Rato, Genour, Extec and DK Power state engine production on their own websites; other makers buy engines from them or from other engine plants. Ask for the engine make and model per set rather than assuming.
Why does the same frame carry different prices?
Because the engine class, the alternator winding material, the regulator and the panel outlets change the cost while the frame and tank stay the same. Name all eight assemblies and the price differences explain themselves.
